Prepare the parsley butter by mixing the butter, chopped parsley and some seasoning on a flat plate using a fork. Scoop up and form into a small cube or disc and chill in the fridge.
Grill or fry the gammon steaks on both sides.
Meanwhile cook the broad beans briefly in boiling salted water for 3-5 mins. The fresher and younger the beans are the quicker they will cook.
Serve up on a warm plate, top with the parsley butter and dig in, what a treat!
