Prune And Strawberry Tart
Prunes and strawberries are a good combination, but you can also make this recipe without the prunes.

Cooking temperature: 200°C
Ingredients
- 250 g Strawberries
- 1 Eating Apple
- 8 Pitted Prunes
- 50 g Pine Nuts
- 2 teaspoons Caster Sugar
- 0.25 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 320 g Puff Pastry
Method
- Hull and halve the strawberries. Peel and thinly slice the apple.
- Roll out the puff pastry and line a 20cm flan tin.
- Chop half of the strawberries with mix with the chopped the apple, spread over the base of the tart.
- Arrange the remaining fruits on the top and sprinkle with pine nuts and sugar.
- Bake at 200°C for 20 mins then reduce the heat until the top is brown and slightly bubbling.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar just before serving with crème fraiche or greek yoghurt.
