Flapjack
I use a large tray measuring 32x19cm. If you tray is smaller than this, then your flapjacks will be thicker and you may need to adjust the cooking time.

Cooking temperature: 160°C
Ingredients
100 g Soft Brown Sugar
130 g Unsalted Butter
100 g Golden Syrup
240 g Oats
Method
Pre heat the oven.
Put the sugar, golden syrup and butter into a saucepan and over a low heat. Stir until melted.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the oats and any extra flavourings you want.
Stir thoroughly.
Press the mixture down into a greased tray and bake for 20-25 mins.
Ideas for extra flavour
Add dried fruit.
A teaspoon of ground ginger adds a nice little kick.
