Raspberry Compote

Makes/Serves: pot (around 200ml)

Ingredients

  • 200 g Raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons Caster Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Water


Method

  1. Put everything in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. Boil for 5 mins - keep stirring it.
  3. Turn down and simmer for another 10 mins. Keep stirring occasionally.
  4. Push through a sieve if you want it to be pip-free.

You can use fresh or frozen raspberries. If using fresh, then you can freeze the sauce.
