Gluten Free Naan Breads

Makes/Serves: mini naan

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Golden Flaxseeds
  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 150 g Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 130 g Greek Yoghurt


Method

  1. Put the flaxseeds in the water and leave them for about 10 mins to thicken.
  2. Stir the baking powder into the self raising flour. Add some salt and any herbs you want to add flavour.
  3. Add the flaxseed mixture and the greek yoghurt and mix together.
  4. Knead to a ball and then divide into portions.
  5. Use some baking parchment and flour to prevent sticking while you roll the breads out. Use your hands to re-shape and neaten the edges as you go.
  6. Cook them in a hot frying pan which has been sprayed with a little olive oil. They take about 4 mins each side.
