Method
Preheat the oven.
Grease your bun tins.
Rub the flour, margarine and vegetable fat together then add the water to make a shortcrust pastry.

Roll out the pastry and cut the pie cases with a 3 inch cutter and the lids with a 2 inch cutter.
Place the pie cases into the greased bun tins and put a teaspoon of mincemeat into each one.
Brush the edges of the lids with some water before placing them on the pies.
Use a sharp knife to poke a little hole into the top of each pie - this is to let the steam out.
Brush the top of the mince pies with milk so that they go a nice golden colour.
Cook for about 25 mins.
