Strawberry Meringue Creams

The easiest of desserts to make and are loved by young and old alike. You can use shop bought meringues or make your own with this meringe recipe.

Makes/Serves: dessert glasses

Ingredients

  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 2 Meringue Cases
  • 150 ml Whipping Cream

Method

  1. Lightly crush the meringues.
  2. Softly whip the cream.
  3. Roughly mash the strawberries (optionally with a little port).
  4. Fold in broken meringues and the softly whipped cream.
  5. Pile into dessert glasses and decorate with half a strawberry.
